Thanks for all of the kind words about our report on SternAgain, I think the reliability and playability of their games is great, but the pricing is wrongIf it was up to me (which it obviously isn't), these distributors would be pulled right out of the equation and the games would be sold direct for $3495 plus a discounted shipping fee.$3495 FLAT Rate per game !!!Go on the web, click a button and place your orderDrama free zoneNo $7000 Elvis Golds up on EbayHere we are in 2007 in the day of the internet and we still have to make friends with our local distributor in order to get the "best" price. Why should your "friendship" with the distributor have anything to do with what price you end up paying? It forces the hobby more towards the "brown-side" if you know what I mean. When you go online to buy tickets for a plane ride, everyone gets the opportunity to get the same price. Your relationship with the internet geek running the Delta web site doesn't come into play.Level playing field for everyone ....I'll just skip buying the Stern product if they are going to turn it into this much of a dramaIPB and TPF are coming out with plenty of remade WMS stuff, so I will just have King Christopher Hutchins build me brand new remade WMS classics. With these new price hikes from Stern, there really isn't that much price difference at the end of the day. You can buy a LOTR for $4400 delivered that everyone and their brother has (they must have sold 1700 or more of these into homes), or you can get a brand NIB WMS classic like Whitewater for $5900 that you and maybe 7 other people on the planet have.Rarity wins every time ....Without Christopher Hutchins things might be differentWhen the only pinball company left closes their doors (IMHO), don't say no one was warnedDirect or nothing ... my opinions, yours may of course varyGary/ArizonaJust saying what most everyone else is thinking
